Action for Hope is a US-based non-profit organization which supports orphaned and other vulnerable children in Cameroon (Africa). These poor children often do not have a home, food, protection, or access to education before they receive support from us. Without such an organization, they might become victim to abuse, exploitation, violence, and other risks as they search for resources to survive.

All Action for Hope officers, staff, and advisers volunteer their time and serve without compensation. Consequently, this permits us to use 100% of donations made by our supporters for the children we serve.

Our direct costs per child per year are as follows:

This humanitarian work would not be possible without the generous donations from our donors, members and other supporters. Action for Hope insists on transparency and accountability. Our major donors receive annual reports which show how their donations have been used. We ensure that the program’s staff and children’s caregivers follow policies and meet their respective responsibilities.

Ongoing monitoring mechanisms are in place to make sure that funds are appropriated as effectively as possible to make a difference in the lives of the young people.
